A 12-year-old child was hurt after a Pitbull dog attacked him in Karnal, Haryana. The kid, named Osant, is being treated in a trauma facility in Karnal at this time.
In addition to the victim’s family filing a police report, the dog’s owner also filed a report against the victim’s family, stating that they murdered his dog after the event.
The police have opened an investigation based on two distinct complaints from both parties and have registered a case.
Mehar Singh, a resident of the hamlet of Munak, filed a complaint against the dog’s owner, Phool Singh. In his complaint, he alleged that he had repeatedly requested Phool Singh to keep his dog leashed since it had previously attacked many individuals. However, he disregarded him and a fight ensued over the topic.
Singh added, “The dog attacked the boy on Sunday and pulled him out of the gate and onto the road. The youngster was rescued and sent to the hospital. The owner had securely returned the dog home.”
In contrast, Phool Singh also filed a police report, stating that the youngster was in his residence when the dog attacked him.
“We took the kid to the hospital, vaccinated him, and then delivered him to his home. In the fields, we then tied our dog to the tube well “Singh recounted.
Singh said that before he could abandon the dog, the boy’s family murdered him with sticks.
